CLASSES & SPECIAL EVENTS Quilt Divas offer quilting classes in the shoppe as well as at local community education classrooms. These classes are taught by Deborah Rogers and guest teachers. They also hold quilting workshops and retreats with local businesses. 2010 Summer Class Schedule We are happy to be able to offer these classes to you. We hope that if there is something that you would like to see for a class that you will let us know. Each student will receive a 10% discount on materials needed for the class. When: Sunday, July 18th Time: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm Fee: $ 35.00 includes all materials and supplies. You will need a sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. Space is limited, and this is the only summer class that Deb will be offering this year. The ladies always have a great time in this class and want to make more of the project that they are making. PILLOWCASES for Conkerr Cancer Quilt Divas Shoppe is now a drop-off point for Copnkerr Cancer "A Case for Smiles - Helping children feel special while battling life changing illnesses." In just over two years, ConKerr Cancer has delivered over 110,000 cheerful pillowcases to sick children with cancer in hospitals across the country thanks to the kindness of many volunteers – young and old - to sew and donate pillowcases. There are 96 chapters (so far!) serving children in 145 hospitals and pediatric hospices across the United States, Canada and South Africa. Once again we would like to thank all of you for making Quilt Divas a place that is fun to come to. Doris and I couldn't do it with out you, so if there is something that you would like to see us carry or a class that you would like to try, please let us knows. We will be having "KNITTING NIGHT" every Thursday from 3-8. We will be also be offering "Begin to Knit Class".
