CLASSES & SPECIAL EVENTS
Quilt Divas offer quilting classes in the shoppe as well as at local community education classrooms.
These classes are taught by Deborah Rogers and guest teachers.
They also hold quilting workshops and retreats with local businesses.
2010 Winter & Spring Class Schedule
We are happy to be able to offer these classes to you. We hope that if there is something that you would like to see for a class that you will let us know.
Each student will receive a 10% discount on materials needed for the class.
Birdi Sling Bag: Intermediate
February 18 & 25
Thursday 6-8pm
Teacher : Deb Fee: $10.00
This bag would make a great project
bag or a purse.
Irish Chain: Beginner
February 20- March 13
Saturday 10-12 am
Teacher: Doris Fee: $ 20.00
This class is designed for the
beginning quilter. It will show you
how to cut and sew a really easy
quilt pattern.
Happy Hour Table Topper: Intermediate
March 4-18
Thursday 6-8pm
Teacher : Deb Fee:$15.00
This table topper is fun to make but
can be a bit challenging. It would
look great done in fabrics for all of
the holidays,
Applique: Intermediate
March 20 & 27
Saturday 10-12pm
Teacher: Deb Fee: $10.00, plus kit
This class will give you the basics of
applique.
Comfy Pants : Intermediate
March 25
Thursday 6-8pm
Teacher : Deb Fee: $5.00
Great project for a sewer with
some basic sewing skills. These
pants would make great gifts .
Orion's Star Quilt: Intermediate
April 1-22
Thursday 6-8 pm

book
This class will teach you a number of different blocks that you can use
for many different quilts.
Bella Bag: Intermediate

This bag would be great for summer.

Carry me Bag: Intermediate

Hand woven Bali Basket: Intermediate

This basket uses almost no sewing. It would make a great gift.
We will try very hard to let every one know if we need to cancel a class due to the weather or a lack of students

PILLOWCASES for Conkerr Cancer
Quilt Divas Shoppe is now a drop-off point for Copnkerr Cancer "A Case for Smiles - Helping children feel special while battling life changing illnesses."
In just over two years, ConKerr Cancer has delivered over 110,000 cheerful pillowcases to sick children with cancer in hospitals across the country thanks to the kindness of many volunteers – young and old - to sew and donate pillowcases. There are 96 chapters (so far!) serving children in 145 hospitals and pediatric hospices across the United States, Canada and South Africa.

We now have a needlepoint group that meets on Wednesday morning, from 10:00-12:00. Why don't you join us?
